The Finningley Amateur Radio Society, ‘FARS’ are a group of enthusiasts who meet to promote amateur radio, radio communications and electronics.

We cover all aspects of the hobby either within the club, or through members’ individual pursuits.

Our club dates back to the 1980's as RAF Finningleys Amateur Radio Society, the airfield got closed in the 1990's. The club found a new location on the edge of another local RAF airfield, RAF Sandtoft, and restored the buildings to become a unique club location.
